 Wailea Resort is a 1500-acre master planned resort developed by A&B (in partnership with Northwest Mutual) in the 1970s and 1980s, including
three world-class golf courses, condominiums and single family homes, and resort hotels. A&B sold the Wailea Resort in 1989. In October 2003, A&B Properties, Inc. re-acquired approximately 270 acres of fully-zoned residential and commercial lands within the Resort.
